Become a part of the Subcamp Management Core Team, supporting the smooth operation of all sixteen subcamps grouped into four hubs. As a Subcamp Management Support IST, you’ll work across the full subcamp structure, assisting multiple teams with incident reporting, problem resolution, coordination with other departments, and on-site visits to subcamps to help address emerging issues. This role is well suited for adults with prior management experience who want to contribute to a well-run, supportive, and enjoyable subcamp experience for Scouts and leaders.
You’ll be based in the IST Village, enjoy meals in the IST Dining Hall, and participate in IST programme activities during your personal time off. Working in scheduled shifts, you will help ensure consistent support while maintaining balanced rest time for yourself and other subcamp ISTs. Your flexibility, communication skills, and ability to assess situations quickly will help maintain strong coordination across the department.
Your work will be essential in helping the entire Subcamp Management team operate effectively, supporting a safe, organised, and positive experience for all participants.
