Become a part of the Jamboree’s inclusion support team, helping ensure that participants with diverse needs can fully engage in the event. In this role, you’ll proactively support access and inclusion across the site by assisting departments with reasonable adjustments, advocating for participant needs, and troubleshooting barriers as they arise. You may also provide direct support within Listening Ears—calm, low-stimulus spaces designed to offer a sensory-friendly environment for those who need it.

Working closely with multiple teams, you’ll help create an atmosphere where every participant feels welcomed, respected, and able to take part in the Jamboree experience.

Your patience, awareness, and problem-solving skills will contribute to a more inclusive and supportive environment for everyone.

Good facilitator/educational skills, including implementing reasonable adjustments to activities, giving clear instructions, providing tactile aids, pacing the adjustments
Being able to help participants de-escalate anxiety and assist in managing environmental factors (e.g., lighting, noise)

Teamwork and collaboration, including in fast paced environments and advocating to difficult stakeholders
Attention to details and analytical skills (applicable in the context of running a safety check and managing equipment needs)
Cultural awareness and diversity appreciation

Experience & qualifications

Previous experience in supporting person(s) with disability / special adjustments (mobility, cognitive, sensory), preferably in scouting or educational setup
Having previous experience in large-scale events, such as Jamborees, Moots, etc., would be preferred

Languages

Fluent in English
Very good knowledge of one of the following languages: French, Spanish, Arabic or Polish is desired
