Thank you for volunteering for the International Service Team at the 26th World Scout Jamboree, Poland 2027.
IST members play a key role in delivering a safe, well-run, and memorable experience for Scouts from around the world.
The IST Volunteer Roles Catalogue gives an overview of volunteering opportunities across all departments, including responsibilities, working conditions, and required skills. Pictograms highlight aspects such as indoor/outdoor work, physical activity, computer use, and participant interaction, making it easy to see what each role involves.
We use the word “role” rather than “job” to reflect the volunteer spirit of the IST—teamwork, service, and supporting young people to create an unforgettable Jamboree.
Please note that this catalogue is for information only. Applications and role selection will open later via a dedicated system, with full instructions shared in due course.
No. At this stage, the catalogue is an information resource only. It is intended to help IST members understand the available roles and prepare for the role selection process. Details about the selection process and any follow-up communication will be shared separately.
Access to the role selection process will be available to registered IST members whose personal data have been submitted to the registration system by their Contingents. Once submitted, this data will be used to create each IST member’s individual account in the volunteer management and e-learning platform (Rosterfy). Further information about each step of this process will be shared in May 2026.
[!] Please note: each adult participant must have their own individual email address recorded during personal data registration, as this will be required to create their account and grant access to the platform.
IST members who are not registered will not be able to proceed with their applications for volunteering roles.
IST members are expected to be notified of their role allocation in April 2027.
If there is a clear difficulty or reason preventing you from contributing in the assigned role, the IST Support Department will assist with reallocation. The detailed process will be communicated later.
