No. At this stage, the catalogue is an information resource only. It is intended to help IST members understand the available roles and prepare for the role selection process. Details about the selection process and any follow-up communication will be shared separately.

Access to the role selection process will be available to registered IST members whose personal data have been submitted to the registration system by their Contingents. Once submitted, this data will be used to create each IST member’s individual account in the volunteer management and e-learning platform (Rosterfy). Further information about each step of this process will be shared in May 2026.

[!] Please note: each adult participant must have their own individual email address recorded during personal data registration, as this will be required to create their account and grant access to the platform.

IST members who are not registered will not be able to proceed with their applications for volunteering roles.

IST members are expected to be notified of their role allocation in April 2027.

If there is a clear difficulty or reason preventing you from contributing in the assigned role, the IST Support Department will assist with reallocation. The detailed process will be communicated later.

Yes, it might happen. Roles may be amended and additional roles may be added as planning continues. IST members should always refer to the latest digital version of the catalogue for the most up-to-date information.

Yes. The catalogue includes search options, and roles can be searched by role code and role title.

Yes. The catalogue allows filtering by department and by role conditions, so IST members can narrow down roles according to their preferred area of service and working conditions.

Yes. Users can switch to a list view, which shows a simplified list of role codes and role titles grouped by department.

These indicate the primary location of the role. On-site means the role is based at the Jamboree site, while Off-site means the role is carried out away from the site.

The icons show key working conditions for each role, such as whether it is mainly outdoor or indoor, mostly seated, physically active, requires computer skills, includes direct participant interaction, or is wheelchair accessible.

The high-level timeline is:

  • May 2026 – General IST e-learning launched
  • April–June 2027 – Role-specific online training
  • July 2027 – Venue-specific and role-specific on-site training

Information about access, visibility, and procedures for the role selection and allocation process will be communicated separately in a forthcoming Circular. At this stage, Contingents should ensure their IST members are properly registered and informed about the catalogue and timeline.
