Become a part of the subcamp leadership team, supporting the Subcamp Leader and Deputy Subcamp Leader while managing the ISTs responsible for all site and logistics operations within your subcamp. As a Subcamp IST Lead, you’ll work closely with unit leaders and support the daily functioning of the subcamp, drawing on experience from previous World or National Jamborees to help deliver a safe, efficient, and sustainable environment for Scouts.
Ahead of the Jamboree you will receive role-specific training prepare you to guide your logistics team. On site, you’ll camp within your subcamp, coordinate ISTs working in rotating shifts, and ensure everyone receives fair rest time. Your responsibilities include overseeing equipment allocation and return, supporting unit site setup and takedown, monitoring toilet maintenance and cleaning standards, and ensuring wastewater points are properly managed. You’ll also contribute to sustainability efforts across the subcamp.
Your leadership will help maintain a functional, clean, and well-organised living space, supporting a positive Jamboree experience for every unit in your subcamp.
