Become a part of the programme leadership team as a Team Leader for Onshore Activities in the River Module and help coordinate activities taking place in the marinas during the Jamboree. These activities focus on maritime culture and water environment protection, providing participants with engaging learning experiences connected to water and coastal ecosystems.
Your responsibilities include supervising volunteers delivering the activities, coordinating daily operations within the marina area, and ensuring that programme activities run safely and efficiently. You will support activity delivery, step in to assist when needed, and help resolve any participant or volunteer-related issues that may arise.
Working closely with programme staff and marina partners, you will help maintain high standards of programme quality, safety, and participant experience. Team Leaders will complete role-specific online preparation before the Jamboree, in addition to the standard volunteer training.
Strong stewardship and commitment to delivering an excellent water-based and outdoor experience for participants
Ability to safely deliver hands-on educational and creative activities
Ability to explain simple technical and practical concepts
Team-player attitude, with the ability to coordinate and support ISTs and collaborate with other Team Leaders
Motorboat license
Experience in managing a team of volunteers
Interest or experience in sport, balance, and physical activity challenges
Interest or experience in maritime culture and the water environment
