Become a part of the bosun team which is responsible for the maintenance and rigging of the boats used in Jamboree sailing activities. Based at marinas near the Jamboree site, bosuns will carry out a variety of tasks, including cleaning, painting, and repairing sails, ropes, cables, and hulls. This position is to help manage essential equipment such as life jackets and trailers, ensuring everything is in good condition and correctly rigged. An important part of the role will be assisting and helping skippers in running marina. A key part of the role is maintaining safety standards and ensuring boats are ready for use each day.
Ability to work independently and organize work efficiently
Ability to promote and ensure a safe working environment
Physical fitness to carry moderately heavy objects
Motorboat license
Solid experience in boat maintenance, including fiberglass hull repairs
Experience and knowledge in general maintenance
Intermediate English
Polish is a plus
