Become a part of the Headquarters Service Team as a Shift Leader and help ensure the continuous and efficient operation of Jamboree Headquarters on a 24/7 basis. In this role, you will manage and coordinate the work of the Headquarters Service team during your assigned shift, supporting a safe, organized, and responsive working environment for all HQ users.
Your responsibilities include supervising reception and access control activities, ensuring that procedures are followed, IDs are correctly verified, and the flow of people within HQ remains secure and well managed. As the primary point of contact for operational matters during the shift, you will handle incoming issues, prioritize tasks, and coordinate responses with teams such as Logistics, Security, and IT.
A key part of the role is maintaining situational awareness across HQ, identifying potential problems early, and responding proactively to minimize disruption. You will also support team members in their daily tasks, provide guidance, manage shift handovers, and document important events, decisions, and outstanding issues to ensure smooth continuity between shifts.
Availability to work in a shift-based, 24/7 system, including nights

High level of situational awareness
Clear and effective communication, including giving instructions
Ability to handle difficult or unexpected situations calmly
Confidence in working with simple coordination tools (logs, communication platforms)
Previous experience in a coordination, supervisory, or leadership role
Experience in events, operations, or similar environments
Experience working in an international or multicultural setting
Experience in crisis or incident management is an asset
Good level of English (minimum B2), enabling confident communication
