Become a part of the Off-Site Program Transportation (OPT) team and support daily operations within the main Jamboree bus terminal. As a Bus Team Member, you will help ensure the safe, orderly, and efficient movement of participants and vehicles both within the terminal and during route operations. In this role, you may assist with participant check-in and check-out, accompany passengers, help maintain a safe and secure environment, direct traffic, and communicate with your team about any issues, delays, or incidents. Your support will help keep transport services organised and running smoothly throughout the event. Teams may vary in size depending on the day and location. You will work under the supervision of the Bus Team Coordinator(s) and collaborate closely with bus drivers and other IST members.
– Ability to support safe and orderly movement of participants and vehicles at bus terminals and during route operations
– Teamwork and the ability to follow instructions and operational procedures are important
– Good communication skills and a service-minded attitude are important
– Ability to remain calm in a busy environment and report issues, delays, or incidents clearly
– Experience in customer service, crowd management, transport support, or event operations is an advantage
– Basic spoken English is required
– Additional WOSM languages (French, Arabic or Spanish) or Polish are an advantage
