Become a part of the Off-Site Program Transportation (OPT) team and take a coordinating role within the main Jamboree bus terminal. As a Bus Team Coordinator, you will help manage bus schedules, routes, and daily transport operations to ensure that services run safely, efficiently, and according to plan. In this role, you will coordinate bus movements, support operational logistics, help resolve issues that arise during operations, and maintain clear communication with participants, drivers, and other stakeholders. You will work closely with the bus terminal managers and the Transport Operations Team to support smooth and well-organised transport services. Team structures may vary depending on the day. You will work under the supervision of the Main Bus Terminal Manager(s) and help coordinate buses and the IST members working on them.
– Good organisational skills and the ability to coordinate bus movements, schedules, and daily operations
– Ability to maintain a clear overview in a busy operational environment
– Strong communication skills when working with participants, drivers, terminal managers, and IST members
– Good problem-solving skills and the ability to respond calmly to operational issues
– Team leadership and coordination skills are an advantage
– Experience in transport operations, event coordination, logistics, or team coordination is an advantage
– Good spoken English is required
– Additional WOSM languages (French, Arabic or Spanish) or Polish are an advantage
