Become a part of the Off-Site Program Transportation (OPT) team and take a leading role in managing the main bus terminal at the Jamboree site. As a Main Bus Terminal Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the terminal, ensuring that transport activities run efficiently, safely, and in line with operational procedures.

In this role, you will coordinate terminal staff, manage bus movements and schedules, and help ensure that passengers move through the terminal in an organised and safe manner. You will work closely with other terminal managers and the Transport Operations Team, maintaining clear communication to support the smooth operation of the transport system across the Jamboree.

Strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. You will support and guide the terminal team, respond to operational challenges, and report directly to the Off-Site Program Transportation Leads while helping maintain high standards of safety and service.

– Ability to deliver training and support staff development
– Good organisational and resource allocation skills, including management of IST, vehicles, and operational equipment

– Good understanding of passenger transport, route management, large-scale bus movements, and IST scheduling
– Ability to assess risks in a dynamic environment and apply preventative safety measures

Experience & qualifications

– Previous managerial experience in transportation, logistics, event operations, or public service is desirable
– You may manage a team of up to 150 IST
– You should be able to arrive 1 day before IST arrival day and depart 1 day after IST departure day

Languages

– Clear spoken and written English is required
– Additional WOSM languages (French, Arabic or Spanish) or Polish are an advantage
