Become a part of the programme leadership team as a Museum Assistants’ Leader and help coordinate museum visits within the City Module during the Jamboree. In this role, you will oversee the work of Museum Assistants and ensure that participant groups move smoothly through the museum programme according to the planned schedule.
Your responsibilities include supervising assistants, assigning tasks such as guiding groups, managing time, and answering participant questions, and stepping in to provide additional support when needed. You will help maintain efficient group movement through the museum, ensuring that visits follow the planned routes and timings.
As the main point of contact between museum staff, the City Module logistics team, and the Museum Assistants, you will support communication and resolve any operational challenges that arise. Museum Group Leaders will complete online training before the Jamboree and will be responsible for briefing their team on daily plans, routes, and safety guidelines.
