During the visit, Members of Parliament and Senators met with WOSM Secretary General, representatives of the World Scout Committee and Organising Committee and received an update on the progress of preparations, including safety and security, transport, logistics, healthcare and the development of the Jamboree site.
The delegation also visited the future Jamboree site, where they had the opportunity to see the scale of the project and learn how the temporary city for nearly 43,000 participants and volunteers will operate during the event.
The visit highlighted the broad institutional support for the World Scout Jamboree and the importance of continued cooperation between public authorities, the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association and the Organising Committee in the final year of preparations.
The parliamentary delegation included Henryka Krzywonos-Strycharska, Małgorzata Sekuła-Szmajdzińska, Halina Bieda, Magdalena Sroka, Konrad Frysztak, and Jarosław Wałęsa.
