Become a part of the logistics team as the Warehouse Bike Courier Service Team Lead, overseeing the movement of goods across the Jamboree site using environmentally friendly transportation. You’ll lead the bike courier service, ensuring timely and secure delivery of materials to various event areas, from food supplies to program equipment.
You’ll manage a team responsible for executing deliveries, coordinating routes, and maintaining efficiency throughout the event. Your leadership will ensure that all deliveries, whether scheduled or on-demand, are completed safely and promptly, supporting the smooth operation of the Jamboree.
Your role will be essential in facilitating the daily operations of the event, contributing to an organized, responsive, and environmentally conscious logistics system.
Ability to coordinate and lead a team of bike couriers responsible for the rapid and efficient delivery of small parcels, documents, and essential supplies throughout the site
Ability to ensure timely communication, smooth operations, and high safety standards
Ability to play a critical role in supporting the overall logistics and success of the event
Due to the nature of the Jamboree, there may be occasions to work in other areas if needed
Experience as a team lead
Good English communication skills are required
Additional languages are an advantage
