Become a part of the Venue Management Department and help ensure that shared venues across the Jamboree site remain safe, welcoming, and fully operational. The department oversees key common areas such as the Plaza and supports other departments that operate particular venues across the site, including programme areas and transport locations. A limited number of venues are indoors (e.g., the Check-in Centre).
Venue Management plays an important role in maintaining a consistent standard of service and experience across all shared spaces. By supporting departments such as Programme, Food Services, Medical, Safety and Security, and Communications, the team helps ensure that each venue is properly prepared and ready to support activities and participants throughout the event.
As a Venue Management Team Member, you may work as a camp marshal or quartermaster within a venue. Your responsibilities may include assisting with logistics and warehousing processes, monitoring equipment and supplies, and helping keep venues organised, functional, and ready to welcome participants at all times.
