Become a part of the Tents and Cabins Team, focusing on safety and training for the erection of key structures across the Jamboree site. As a Tents and Cabins Training Coordinator, you’ll ensure that tents, modular cabins, and containers are erected to the highest safety standards, providing training and guidance to the team responsible for their deployment.
You’ll lead safety protocols and training programs, ensuring that the assembly of tents and cabins across various hubs and critical areas is carried out with the utmost care. Your role will ensure that all infrastructure meets safety, quality, and sustainability standards, from subcamps to medical and VIP facilities.
Your expertise in safety and training will be vital in creating secure, functional environments, directly contributing to the smooth and safe operation of the Jamboree.

Training and practical knowledge to ensure the safe erection of tents and cabins, and to train others to care for them safely
Cabin and container maintenance skills
Ability to carry out preventive inspections, including daily walk-throughs of subcamp HQs, clinics, and central facilities to identify risks before they escalate
Ability to respond quickly to storm or wind damage, supported by spare inventory stored centrally and at hub warehouses
Due to the nature of the Jamboree, there may be occasions to work in other areas if needed
Experience in training others or coordinating practical work is an advantage
Good English communication skills are required
Additional languages are an advantage
