Become a part of the Radio Section within the In-House Media Unit and help bring the soundscape of the Jamboree to life. As a Radio Section Member (Technician), you will support the creation and delivery of radio content broadcast across the Jamboree site, on participant buses, through loudspeakers in key areas, and to residents of Gdańsk.
Your tasks may include preparing and presenting radio segments, conducting interviews, producing summaries of daily events, managing announcements, curating music playlists, and assisting with technical or editorial aspects of the broadcast. You will collaborate closely with other media teams—such as Photo, Video, Digital Media, and Newspaper—to ensure alignment with the Jamboree’s visual and editorial identity.
The radio station plays an important role in connecting participants, delivering timely information, and shaping the event’s atmosphere. Working in structured shifts, you will help ensure continuous broadcasting, maintain high-quality audio content, and contribute to a friendly, energetic, and informative listening experience for everyone on-site and beyond.
Ultimately, Jamboree responsibilities will be divided within the team into tasks related to the content publisher, publisher’s assistant, editor, presenter, reporter, sound engineer, and broadcast technician.
