Become a part of the IT Support Team, providing essential IT support services throughout the Jamboree. In this role you’ll assist with both IT support desk and on-site support, ensuring that all technology and systems are functioning smoothly for staff, participants, and event operations.
You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, responding to support requests, and assisting with the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure across the site. Your role will be critical in ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems, helping resolve technical challenges quickly and efficiently.
Your support will directly contribute to the success of the Jamboree by ensuring reliable IT services are available for all teams and participants throughout the event.
Being a trusted Scouter
Basic networking skills
Practical knowledge and skills in hardware configuration and reconfiguration, including connecting devices (e.g. printers, monitors) and ensuring their proper operation with laptops in different locations
Being a team player
IT Support experience providing 2nd and 3rd line support (it is s expected that everyone in the team will also work the 1st line desk)
Background in 2nd/3rd line IT Support for M365, Windows and Macs and JIRA
Strong English communication skills
