Become a part of the IST Canteen Team and help create a smooth, friendly, and energising dining experience for the volunteers who keep the Jamboree running. In this lively environment, you’ll help ensure every IST member feels welcomed, cared for, and well fed, supporting a space that serves as both a meal hub and a moment of rest during busy days.
As a IST Dining Team Member, you’ll contribute to the daily flow of service by keeping dining areas clean and inviting, managing queues with calm confidence, and offering helpful guidance to volunteers with dietary needs. You’ll assist in preparing and distributing takeaway lunch bags and help maintain excellent hygiene and food-safety standards throughout each shift. Your teamwork, positivity, and attention to detail will help deliver a warm, efficient service experience from morning to night.
By supporting a well-organised and welcoming meal environment, you’ll play a key part in sustaining the energy and wellbeing of thousands of volunteers. Your contribution ensures the restaurant runs like clockwork, creating a supportive space where ISTs can recharge and feel appreciated throughout the Jamboree.
