Become a driving force behind one of the busiest and most essential services at the Jamboree. As a Food Market Team Lead, you’ll guide a team of volunteers in creating a smooth, welcoming, and well-organised experience for every participant. Your leadership will help keep daily operations safe, efficient, and friendly as thousands of Scouts pass through the market.
In this role, you’ll coordinate tasks across your team, support clear communication, and work closely with your co-lead to ensure consistency across shifts. You’ll help maintain an organised market environment by collaborating with the contracted supplier, responding quickly to issues, and assisting participants with their needs. Together with Subcamp Management, you’ll identify challenges, implement solutions, and keep the market running reliably throughout the day.
Your leadership ensures that both volunteers and participants feel supported, informed, and valued. By creating a well-functioning, positive environment, you’ll enhance the daily experience of Scouts and contribute to a market that operates seamlessly for the entire event.
