Become a part of the frontline medical support team at the Jamboree, working within First Aid Points to provide safe, calm, and effective care to participants. As a First Aider, you’ll partner closely with a Medical Volunteer, forming a two-person response team that ensures quick and reliable assistance for anyone experiencing injury or sudden illness.
In this role, you’ll carry out initial assessments, deliver basic first aid, and help stabilise participants until further care is arranged. You will also support communication and coordination with higher-level medical services, ensuring each case is managed smoothly and in line with safety procedures. By maintaining a reassuring presence and responding promptly to emerging needs, you’ll contribute to a safe and supportive environment across the Jamboree.
Your work directly impacts participant wellbeing, helping ensure that everyone – from Scouts to leaders and IST – can enjoy the event confidently and safely.
