You’ll oversee daily energy operations, guiding a responsive maintenance team as you monitor power distribution, support departments across the site and help integrate efficient, sustainable energy solutions. From maintaining core systems to coordinating safe power usage, you’ll stay at the centre of activity, ensuring the site remains energised and resilient.
Your leadership will directly protect the wellbeing of participants and staff while enabling seamless operations across the Jamboree. By keeping the site powered and safe, you’ll contribute to an unforgettable experience for thousands and help uphold the event’s commitment to safety, sustainability and excellence.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and power infrastructure
Ability to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems
Familiarity with temporary power systems used in events, construction sites, or field operations
Ability to coordinate technical work with external providers and internal teams
Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and prioritisation skills
Ability to work safely and make decisions in a fast-moving operational environment
Proven experience in electrical, energy, or power infrastructure operations
Previous experience leading or supervising a technical team is required
Very good spoken and written English is required
