Become a part of the Digital Media Section and help shape the Jamboree’s voice across its official online platforms. As a Digital Media Section Member, you will contribute to real-time communication that keeps participants informed, connected, and inspired—both on-site and around the world. Your work will support daily storytelling, community engagement, and rapid information delivery, ensuring consistent and high-quality messaging across all channels.
Your responsibilities may include preparing social media posts, assisting with live updates, providing coverage for Jamboree activities, drafting messages for the mobile app, and supporting crisis communication when needed. You will collaborate with other media teams—including Photo, Video, Broadcasting, Radio, and Newspaper—to ensure that visuals and messaging align with the event’s brand identity and editorial guidelines.
The Digital Media Section also manages content for the Jamboree mobile app, a simple one-way communication tool used to deliver clear and timely information to participants. Working in shifts, you will help maintain continuous coverage, engage the online community, and ensure that all digital touchpoints of the Jamboree reflect a coherent, engaging, and youth-friendly presence.
Ultimately, Jamboree responsibilities will be divided within the team into tasks related to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Treehouse, website, newsletter, internal communications, applications, media monitoring and content proofreading.
