Become a part of the team that brings the Plaza to life for Day Visitors at the World Scout Jamboree. As a Day Visitors Plaza Programme Team Member you’ll help create a fun, welcoming, and engaging environment in the central area accessible to all guests, ensuring visitors feel comfortable, informed, and excited to explore the Jamboree experience.
In this role, you’ll support visitors as they navigate Plaza activities and programme zones such as National Tents, Food Houses, and the Global Development Village. You’ll answer questions, guide visitors to different attractions, and help maintain a safe and positive atmosphere throughout the area. By providing friendly assistance and clear information, you’ll help ensure that guests can fully enjoy the diverse cultural, educational, and interactive experiences available.
Your presence helps shape the overall visitor experience by promoting the welcoming spirit of Scouting. Through active engagement, clear communication, and attentive support, you’ll ensure that Day Visitors explore the Plaza safely and leave with lasting memories of the Jamboree.
Being able to speak confidently to large and diverse groups in a friendly and culturally appreciative way
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Enthusiasm and ability to “hype up” activities
Have comfort working in dynamic outdoor festival-like environments
Be able to remain calm and friendly under high visitor volume and changing priorities
No specific experience is required
English (Business Level) is mandatory
Additional languages are highly valued, especially: Polish, Spanish, French and Arabic
