Become a part of the programme team as a Historical Reenactment Expert and help bring history to life during the Jamboree. In this role, you will support programme activities by presenting authentic historical reenactments that allow participants to experience elements of history in an engaging and educational way.
You will portray historical soldiers by wearing accurate uniforms and using appropriate historical equipment and gear. Through demonstrations, storytelling, and interaction with participants, you will explain historical context, the daily life of soldiers, and the use of period equipment, while answering questions and encouraging curiosity.
Working alongside other reenactors and programme staff, you will help deliver respectful and historically accurate presentations according to the programme schedule. The role focuses on participant interaction, educational interpretation, and creating an immersive learning experience.
Possession of proper historical uniforms, gear and equipment
Knowledge of the historical period being presented
Ability to communicate with participants in an engaging way
