Become a part of the team that welcomes participants to the Jamboree, helping ensure a smooth and friendly arrival experience. As a Check-in Centre Team Member, you’ll verify participant, day visitors and guests identities, confirm Safe from Harm completion, issue welcome packs, troubleshoot check-in challenges, and provide driving permits when needed. Within the Check-in Centre, you may also support services such as the Post Office, Lost & Found, IST rest areas, and other administrative functions that help the site run smoothly.
At the Entry Points, you’ll greet arriving units, help resolve any immediate concerns, and guide participants toward transport or their next destination. Most responsibilities take place indoors and involve administrative work rather than physical labour, making this role suitable for volunteers with a wide range of accessibility needs, including wheelchair users.
Your welcoming presence and organisational skills will help set a positive tone for every participant’s Jamboree experience.
