With one year to go before the world’s largest educational event for young people opens its gates, the meeting focused on turning plans into delivery. National contingent leaders met with the Jamboree Management Team to review progress, discuss operational planning and prepare for welcoming nearly 43,000 participants and volunteers from 176 countries and territories next summer.

Over three days, participants took part in plenary sessions covering the participant programme, the International Service Team experience, registration, arrivals, food and dining, logistics, safety and security, healthcare and safeguarding.

The programme also included five workshop rotations, allowing Heads of Contingent to explore key operational topics in greater detail, including subcamp life, guest services, registration, programme delivery and participant wellbeing. Additional sessions focused on Food Houses and the Solidarity Operation.

On Saturday, participants visited the future Jamboree site on Sobieszewo Island, where they explored the check-in facilities, programme areas and subcamp locations. The visit provided an opportunity to see first-hand how the temporary Jamboree city is taking shape.

The meeting concluded with regional sessions for all WOSM Regions and a final question-and-answer session, helping contingents prepare for the final year before the Jamboree.
