To ensure the absolute safety and success of the event, continuous dialogue with national authorities is essential. On Thursday, our leadership team visited the Polish Parliament to meet with Members of Parliament and the Government Plenipotentiary, Deputy Minister of the Interior. During this meeting, we presented a detailed update on the state of preparations for Poland 2027, reaffirming the strong support and collaboration at the highest levels of government.
The momentum continued into the weekend with a three-day summit of the Jamboree Management Team. The agenda was a mix of formal operational matters and in-depth strategic discussions. A key focus was our collaboration with the Contingent Relations team, as we diligently prepare to welcome the Heads of Contingents for their pivotal briefing in Gdańsk this coming July.
While legal frameworks and logistical spreadsheets are the foundation of our work, the true heart of the Jamboree is its people. The absolute highlight of the weekend was a gathering with over 200 leaders from the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association, the dedicated volunteers who will lead their patrols and the Polish contingent in 2027.
Similar meetings are taking place across the globe right now. Seeing the faces of the leaders for whom we are creating this event provided our team with an incredible boost of energy. It is a powerful reminder that beyond the numbers and operational plans, we are building what we truly believe will be the most beautiful educational event in the world.
We are deeply grateful for the dedication of our volunteers and partners. Time is moving fast, and we cannot wait to see you all in Gdańsk!
