Role Description

Job title: Graphic Designer, Communication Department 

Nature of engagement: Volunteer contract 

Duration: from February 2024 until the project in December 2027 or earlier  

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for preparation graphics for ongoing communication (including graphics for social media, flyers, stationery, posters, advertising banners, email campaign visuals, etc.), designing branding and materials for events, working on layout of multi-page publications for both print and online purposes, preparation of templates for modification for different purposes and maintaining graphic consistency for the World Scout Jamboree 2027. 

Applicant Profile


  • Positive experience of projects at least at a Scout District Level 
  • Ability to communicate freely in English 
  • Free use of the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) 
  • Ability to work with the Visual Identity Catalog 
  • Understanding the specifics of designing for the Internet and print 
  • Ability to create long publications (bulletins, long-form documents) 
  • Sense of aesthetics, attention to detail, creativity

Candidate who will be selected for this role is expected to participate in the next JPT Meeting, which will take place in Gdańsk, 19-21 April 2024.

  • Ability to work with volunteers and staff of national and regional structures of the Scout Association and other organizations,
