Position: Coordinator, Sustainability – Jamboree Planning Team
Type of Engagement: Volunteer Contract
Duration: June 2023 through December 2027 (or earlier depending on volunteer’s availability, with a minimum commitment until April 2025)

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced individual to serve as the Sustainability Coordinator for our Jamboree Planning Team for the World Scout Jamboree 2027. This pivotal role involves the coordination of sustainability initiatives throughout the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of the Jamboree.
As the Sustainability Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all aspects of the Jamboree align with sustainability principles, from waste management and energy usage to procurement and transportation. You will work closely with all Functional Areas to ensure that sustainability is integrated into their operations and decisions.
