As one of the world’s largest regional gatherings, the Asia-Pacific Scout Conference serves as a key forum for setting strategic priorities, reviewing policies, and guiding the development of Scouting in a region that is home to more than half of the world’s Scouts. The event highlighted how cooperation and shared learning can empower young people to take active roles in creating positive change in their communities.
The Jamboree team took an active part in the conference, hosting a booth to discuss the practical aspects of participation in the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Poland in 2027. Leaders and delegates from across the region engaged in conversations about how the Jamboree can serve as a platform for youth empowerment, cross-cultural exchange, and leadership development under the theme Bravely.
A highlight of the conference was the plenary presentation on the progress of Jamboree preparations, and the Jamboree Reception, which brought together leaders and partners from the Asia-Pacific Region. These moments strengthened collaboration, inspired ideas, and built excitement for welcoming Scouts from across the world to Gdańsk in 2027.
The Jamboree team continues to work closely with National Scout Organizations and the World Organization of the Scout Movement, deepening partnerships, sharing knowledge, and building momentum for an unforgettable global Scouting experience in Poland.
